My husband and I were so impressed with how quickly a pre-approval claim was put through when we called on a Saturday morning about our dog. Communication was open all morning between us, the vet, and trupanion. I never felt like I was in the dark about anything. Thank you. Rosie my yorkie got pretty sick with diarrhea for 3 days.
Rosie my yorkie got pretty sick with diarrhea for 3 days. I was extremely worried. At the vet, she had IV, blood tests, abdominal x-ray and antibiotics. My bill from the vet came to about $750. Trupanion was great in a very timely review of my claim and reimbursed me my portion exactly as per our contract. They were speedy gonzales with my claim. Within 2 days, I received confirmation that they had received my claim. By the 3rd day, I found the reimbursed amount of money deposited into my bank account. In terms of looking after Rosie, I could concentrate on doing just that and not having to worry about hefty vet bills because I know that TRUPANION ALWAYS HAS MY BACK. I had a previous yorkie under their plan as well and I could not be more satisfied a customer as each time I have to deal with them. Trupanion folks are wonderful. They are genuine, caring, calming and they always help me sincerely and make me feel good.
