Was denied as I was told a tumor is the same as dry skin/allergies. I was informed Danielle was the tech who reviewed my request and she would call me within 48 hours. That was Wednesday 12/17 and it’s now Saturday 12/20 with no update. My vet sent over all the previous docs, notes & recommendations she still no update. I should have listened to my vet when they told me to look at a different company for insurance as they’ve heard horrible stories with previous clients!

10 Years of Safety
I started using Trupanion 10 years ago when I got my standard poodle, Becky. I had a horrible situation a year prior with another standard poodle, where he almost didn't get the life-saving care he needed after a car accident because I didn't have a backup plan for emergencies. I swore, after he recovered, that I would never let myself be in that position again. I currently have three dogs enrolled in Trupanion, and I plan to add any future dogs to my plan. The peace of mind I have that I will never again have to choose between keeping a roof over my head and caring for my dogs is beyond priceless. Trupanion has been a literal lifesaver for Becky and Bug. Solstice hasn't needed it, so far, and my fingers are crossed that he never will, but I am glad the option is there. Every single time I have had to call or submit a claim I was treated with kindness. All the reps always ask how my dogs are doing, and they seem to really care about the answer. When I had a problem with a claim a few years ago, the two people I spoke with were both able to identify the problem and help me rectify it so my dog could get care. Trupanion has worked with my local emergency room to pay my bills directly, which is always a blessing. When I first added my third dog, the cost was almost half of what it is now, but the cost of veterinary care has almost tripled. I went online to review what I'm paying for and see if I could reduce the cost, but when I compared what I have paid vs what I have been reimbursed, I found that I am happy with my current cost and my peace of mind.

Pumpkin is the Best
