This was my first time submitting a claim. I called first to get a quote. The rep was so nice and informative. My claim was reviewed that day and a quote was given. I submitted the claim and it was paid to the vet right away.

Don't choose this company if you need same day service.
I was promised a direct payment to my vet clinic for my pet’s surgery, to be paid on the day of the procedure once it was completed. However, after the surgery, Healthy Paws was suddenly unable to process the direct payment as promised. I spent hours trying to reach someone who could actually explain what was going on, rather than reading from a script. In the end, I was forced to pay the full cost myself. I was reimbursed two days later, but that defeats the purpose of having pet insurance. Insurance should be there for situations where the upfront cost isn’t feasible. The lack of communication and follow-through made an already stressful situation much worse.

My dog has had multiple health issues; IMHA, chronic pancreatitis and recently had a ACL repair to name a few. Healthy Paws has honored our policy every single time without issue and paid the claims within days. Very pleased with the insurance and customer service!

I always rave about MetLife for pet insurance and have gotten you other customers. When a claim is submitted they are processed very quickly and money back into my act within 2 weeks usually shorter, I have had 2 other pet ins and had to fight to get my money I would say 95% of the time there are no issues at all, easy to talk to, any issues get fixed usually while I'm on the phone and the people you talk to are very pleasant. I recently had an issue with a bunch of claims that someone only uploaded the last page of the bill instead of everything I sent so all my claims were being denied... evidently they are getting fixed because I have not been able to resubmit them and claims are being processed. Metlife is the best pet insurance out there I have 6 of my 11 babies on there so far.

Quick and Painless
The entire process was quick and painless. Fetch covered exactly what my plan stated minus my copay and deductible. They also give you an itemized description of each covered incident and deposit the money directly into your bank account when you sign up. Very pleased and so is our new family member.
