I like the policy terms (lifetime deductible for ailments and no tacked on premium expenses for "normal" and expected vet costs - I like that I'm paying for catastrophic only, rather than having to pay a higher premium for expenses I already knew I would incur) Also, every time I call I talk to a real human who answers my questions without reading off a script.
