Unaffordable as soon as your dog’s age
I have been a customer with PetsBest for over 12 years. I have 3 dogs. The first few years the cost of the plan is reasonable. However, the older your dog gets the more expensive the plan becomes. In addition, there is a cap on the amount you can claim per dog. Going into my next annual plan, my premium is so high that I will receive almost nothing in claims ie premium is $9600/yr with a max claim of $15K per year. My premium is going up $200/mo for the new year. If I had known that they were going to price me out of the plan just when my dogs are old enough to need it, I never would have started with them. This is more or less a scam unless your dog gets sick when they are young. Definitely DO NOT recommend!
