Stressful time made easier

Severe Rate Increase After First Year
They paid the claims in a timely manner over the course of my first year with them. However, when it came time to renew for year two, they raised my premium for my two dogs by over $40 a month which increased my annual premium by about $480! In my view, it appears that the initial year's lower rate was a ploy to get me to sign up with them. When I complained about such a large increase, I received a condescending email from them saying they "understand it (premium rate increases) can be frustrating" and that I could buy less coverage if I wanted a lower premium. They also blamed the rate on many factors, including inflation, policy changes and the underwriter (underwriter (American Modern Insurance Group) who determines the base rate. Too bad they have no say in what they charge, huh? To me, it's a bait (lower initial rate)_ and switch (2nd year large rate increase).

My Embrace Experience
I recently had to put my almost 9yr. old Great Dane Cupcake to sleep. He had Embrace Pet Ins. his whole life. While I never had cause to use it the first 2 years of his life after that he developed one problem after another. Embrace was GREAT about paying his bills that ended up being enormous over these last 7 years. Often they were paid within 3 days. Had it not been for Embrace I never would have been able to afford the good medical care that Cupcake required for most of his life. Thank you so much Embrace.
