Ear infection
Gunner got an ear infection in May and in August got a sore by privates and feet bothered him and end of August another ear infection. Then he was diagnosed w allergies by vet August 24th, 2022. They told me he had allergies from May w/o vet diagnosis. Isn't that convient to blame everything on his 1st ear infection as allergies before a vets diagnosis. Wish I never would have believed the rating and their sweet talk to join their company. Now I'm stuck and can't go anywhere else. Bad company politics.

Healthy Paws is an excellent company- highly recommend!
I signed up for healthy paws insurance when my beagle puppy was 2 months old after paying hundreds of dollars out of pocket for an early case of giardia and a scare that he swallowed a metal zipper hook. 6 years later I cannot express how valuable this company and its employees and services are. At age 2 my dog ruptured a spinal disc and was paralyzed in his lower back and both legs, which apparently is more common than we knew in dogs wiry heavy/dense bodies and short legs (like corgis, dachshunds, and beagles). The MRI, spinal surgery, and hospital stay were estimated at about $15,000. Lucky for us we were able to go for it without hesitation since we knew Healthy Paws would cover 80% and we could figure out $3,000 to help our fur baby walk again. He had another scare at age 3, and we just had a 3rd surgery at age 6- in addition to weekly physical therapy the last 4 years for maintenance of his condition. Our beagle is happy and sweet as ever, and we wouldnt be able to do it without Healthy Paws pet insurance! We are forever grateful to the service they provide, and of course to the wonderful veterinarians and surgeons out there who care about our pup. The reimbursements come through so quickly- usually within 48 hours! And we are grateful for the financial help to maintain our dog’s ability to walk. Healthy Paws makes medical decision-making easy so you can focus on the health of your pet instead of the out of pocket expense. The peace of mind they provide is worth every penny. Not to mention their personal touch- their claims reps have reached out to personally check on Otis after each service! They truly care about their customers and our pets. Highly recommend!

Don’t insure your Pet With this company.
I strongly recommend that those considering insuring a pet with this company go elsewhere. I had my pup insured with this company until he was 7 years old and they raised the premium so high that I went elsewhere for the same coverage at a much lower premium. I also had very few claims over the years I was insured by this company. Based on my experience, this company does not want to insure pets as they age. Please look elsewhere for better and less expensive insurance. The insurance company’s response to my review does not answer the following question, which I asked them back in 2021: why didn’t your competitors increase their premiums as much as you did? The answer is obvious. The insurance company values it’s investors more than it’s insureds. As I have said: stay away from this company, unless you want to invest in them.

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance is a scam
Healthy Paws Pet Insurance is a scam. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. I have paid them for the last 8 years and I have only submitted a couple of claims just for them to reject them, my dog's condition was very clear in the paid invoice from my Vet, it was not a pre-condition, it was an unexpected sickness and yet they refused to pay it. They claim unlimited claims reimbursements, please don't buy it, look for another insurance. Some of their reviews come from their own website/partners, so that Number 1 claim that they are the best, its pure lies. Don't waste your money. It seems they pick who they reimburse, if you are a minority, don't sign with this company. I have paid them over 10,000 in insurance just for them to turn around and deny my dog's legitimate claims. I'm very disappointed.

Your agent Alexandra was so kind and helpful I was really impressed at her thoughtfulness. Itâs hard these days to find a company that has such wonderful employees and your coverage for my pet is fantastic.
