My customer service experience with Alex was great.
My customer service experience with Alex was great. Alex gets a 10! My experience with pet insurance overall is that deductibles are high, deductibles applied per event rather than annually are awful, and monthly costs are also high. That said, I don’t think Trupanion is worse than any other pet insurer. Seems to be the same with all of them. But I feel it’s a necessity in case of a serious illness or accident where the potential for enormous bills is likely. Neighbors of mine had a very ill pet, no pet insurance, and the bills incurred were in the thousands. That’s why I got this insurance. I researched and decided Trupanion was the best fit for me.
