A claim for medicine was recently…
A claim for medicine was recently denied due to a "pre-existing condition". That condition was an allergic reaction. Months ago my dog got a rash on his belly from the detergent I used to wash his bed. Last month the edge of his mouth on both sides swelIed up, become crusty and infected due to a food allergy. These 2 conditions are completely different and since allergies can manifest a myriad of ways from an enormous number of causes I think this claim denial is ridiculous. Especially considering the hefty premiums I pay, even with a high deductible amount.

The first I ever noticed a situation where she was biting her feet was in June or July when I took her to the vet. What is the point of getting insurance on a pet if something you don't know about is not covered when diagnosed.
