Their customer service are nice but…
Their customer service are nice but they company is worthless. I had 2 claims, the 1st one took over 30 days to be completed, no big deal. The 2nd claim, is taking over 5 months, and I am the one that has to be contacting them to see of anything is need to be provided. After, I provided all information requested, they wait 3 months until I call them again to tell me my dog was seen at the vets on June 2021, which is not true never told them that, and my dog was home. It was my wedding day. They just told me, I could make claims from May 14 2021 to June 2021. My claim is from April 2022, they keep contradicting themselves, and saying "oh sometimes our system request this information by accident" but delays the claim and they don't tell you anything either.

Pets Best is a great Insurance Company for pets. Most of the time we get a lot of our money back from the services we have done at our Vet's Office. We recently had her spayed and chipped. We are getting about 1/2 our money back.

Shopping around
I like that it's listed on the website what you get but it would have been nice to have a comparing option right on the website to review it against other companies. I had to use an online source, which wasn't a big deal, but it could have saved me some time.

Save your money
I paid $847.00 for a policy which included wellness care. Physical exam, vaccinations, fecal and heartworm tests, cost me $524.56. They reimbursed $240.00. My dog hurt her leg. Vet bill was $269.67, they paid $3.93. So for $794.23, they reimbursed me $273.60. Would you call this good insurance? I call it a scam. They seem to think that veterinarians are charging 1970 prices today.

First Claim, So Far SO Good.
I just filed my first claim for my puppy Jedi. The process was easy enough, and the decision was quick. Jedi had a fecal exam and vaccines. Turns out he has hookworm. The insurance company split the claim in two. Since he was diagnosed w/hookworm it tuned into a accident/illness claim as well. I will be receiving most of what I paid for the wellness, witch is good. The only reason I didn't give this review 5 stars is because: (1) they have no app. (2) you can not see your claim history online and there determination email doesn't really break it down for you as far as why something was not covered. I would say on a whole I'm happy w/my choice of insurance so far. Customer service is very nice and helpful. Once they get an app, and a claim history online I will give them a 5 star rating.

I suppose I need to review my policy…
I suppose I need to review my policy and then shop around. I had a policy with another insurer that was half the cost and covered far more. This is now my second or third claim and it seems you get pennies paid back and I am paying over $100/mo for a 5 year old healthy dog!
