Highly Impressed with the ease of signing up and the value. I've shopped around and the cost of coverage seems fair and competitive. When I had a question before signing up they replied within 1 day! The team seems friendly and attentive. The true test is when I have a claim. Then I can write another review. But, I think we're off to a good start!

Good INS if you don’t plan on chronic.
Wrong type of pet insurance.. I should enrolled In the Care Club which covers all dental/ checkups/ illnesses and more testing. Trupanion did help on two occasions where my dog came down very sick with a virus . But Once it had been treated it was a preexisting condition that would not be covered in the future. Perfectly ok but I needed an insurance that would cover more extensive testing…. Just the wrong INS for what we needed.

We were hesitant to sign up for pet insurance, but it has been one of the best decisions we've made. One of our hesitations was the negative reputation typical insurance companies have. However, this could not be further from the truth with Trupanion. When we found out our dog had a brain tumor, Trupanion was there to support us. Trupanion has exceptional customer support, are very responsive to urgent pre-approval requests, have a quick and easy claim payment process, and most importantly, clearly show that they care about our pets. The support they've provided during this very difficult time has been invaluable.

Wonderful fast and caring claims service
Very fast, easy to submit and when I had questions I received response quickly that was above and beyond what I needed including a sweet note wishing my puppy a speedy recovery. Really wonderful - no issues.
