Hidden fineprints to exclude most of common sense items
1) Your websites says "No Per Incident Caps". However, you did not reimburse the full amount charged by the vet. 2) Your website says "Depending on your plan, deductible, and reimbursement options, up to 100% of your dog's vet bills may be reimbursed." This is incorrect because even if I had a different plan, my expenses would not be covered 100% due to your hidden fine prints. 3) Insurance plan says "Vet Exam Fees for Accident and Illness visits. This is also incorrect because my claim was for consultation, diagnostics and treatment of my pet, beyond preventive care, and still it was not covered. -- Since there was no place to reply to Figo's last comment. I am putting it here. I have forwarded case details to support at figopetinsurance.com and will update here about what they do about this case.

Read the fine print!
Read the fine print! I've been a customer for years and when I finally needed insurance to help, I was left on the hook. I took the cat for her annual checkup and dentistry appointment, unfortunately she needed an extraction. I thought I was going to be fine as insurance should have covered it. But, as stated in PetsBest's policy: "your Pet's teeth must have been cleaned and examined under general anesthesia by a Veterinarian in the thirteen months before the date of service for the Periodontal Disease claim". Her last examination & cleaning under anesthesia was 14 months prior thus my claim wasn't covered. I barely missed the window by just a bit and now I'm left on the hook for the ENTIRE bill. What a shame, unless you're putting your pet under anesthesia on a yearly basis (not a great idea if you've an aging pet), it's very possible that you'll miss the window to file claims as well. It feels almost unreasonable that they set these strict criteria for coverage. I did find the process to submit a claim rather easy though, so I'll give them that. 1.5 stars --------- In regard to your reply, Thank you for responding. However, this boiler-plate response is representative of my qualms with the company policies. My pet was indeed free of any signs of Periodontal Disease prior to the Policy Effective Date and waiting Period. And since the age of three, my pet's teeth have been cleaned and examined under general anesthesia by a veterinarian routinely. However, this last date of service for the Periodontal Disease claim where an extraction was necessary was 14 months ago and thus missed the mark just barely. I feel that your policy of 13 months is set to give minimal leeway to patients and deliberately absolves you of your responsibility.

Incompetant at reviewing and paying claims
Bought the insurance for my new pup took him in for his first wellness exam they paid half of the claim submitted they forgot to reimburse me for the office wellness visit which was one of the main selling points on their program I’ve given them three weeks and notify them and give them three weeks it’s been three weeks I haven’t heard anything from them yet called again today and their team still hasn’t reviewed it yet as my first interaction with progressive pet insurance I would not recommend them to anybody else if they can’t handle something simple like this I can only imagine if it was more complicated scenario

Affordable and Fast, Great Coverage
Great affordable insurance plans and it is nice to be able to cater to what you need for your pet(s) and personal finances. We lucked out so far with our 2 dogs, but recently we have been treating one for bladder stones. Right out the door after the first (and unexpected) appointment our deductible was met, and then some, so after sending in a claim, we had reimbursement less than a week later. Super fast with claim reviews and results. Definitely set up direct deposit for returns, because it is there the same day your claim gets approved. The last claim I made, I received reimbursement literally less than 24 hours later. The claim process is very simple and easy to use. Just upload your vet bill along with the pet's medical history file and you’re done. I would definitely recommend Fetch to others looking for pet insurance.

Fetch has been a life saver for us!
Fetch has been a life saver for us! It started with a skin infection on our dog Wilson's nose that got completely out of hand. Fetch's customer service was responsive and patient when I contacted them in June 2022 about how to correctly file a claim and what sort of documentation they would require. Wilson then tore his cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) in his back left leg not even 2 full months later in August 2022 and ended up needing TPLO surgery that he received in September 2022. During his surgery they did a biopsy on his nose because it still hadn't cleared up after months with treatment. From the biopsy it turns out he also has an autoimmune disease which we are able to proceed with a dermatologist in regards to thanks to Fetch. We had to use half of what we had saved up to buy our first home for Wilson's surgery, post-op care (including rehabilitative physical therapy) and other issues that have come up around the same time, but thanks to Fetch we are able to get a majority of that back while getting Wilson the absolute best care. We've had experience with a different pet insurance company with our previous dog that crossed rainbow bridge due to lymphoma and it was not a positive one. That experience led us to look for another pet insurance when we got Wilson which is when we found PetPlan which later became Fetch. Fetch has always managed to process our claims and reimburse us in about a week's time while our previous experience with the other pet insurance company left us waiting months for reimbursement and updates on the status of where they were at with processing our claims for chemotherapy. Our experience has been so positive that we have been recommending Fetch to all of our friends and family since Wilson's leg injury. Pet insurance is something that you hope you never have to use, but we are so thankful that we have it because when we needed it we had it and could do what was best for our dog's health.

There is never a payout - always some reason why they wont
i have had pets best for 5 years now and we have tried a few claims though the years for our pooch. from injuries to cleanings...always a reason for them to decline - not one claim has ever been paid. I am cancelling and finding a new provider, would recommend avoiding them as they are a scam.
