I've been paying for over a year for nothing.
I've been paying for over a year and 1⁄2 and nothing's covered. It the first time I've ever tried pet insurance Every time I ask for coverage it wasn't covered with all the hoops and paper work paperwork needed that was filed There would always be an excuse. The breed I have is a In the high risk category That's why I purchased insurance to make sure that the dog would stay healthy. My vet told me it a waste of money on my last visit. That why they have big yachts. I wasted over $1,000 on nothing because it didn't cover nothing.

Took my dog in for a wellness checkup…
Took my dog in for a wellness checkup and routine vaccinations. When I got home I submitted my claim since I have the wellness add on. Got approval of the claim within 3 hours and am getting full reimbursement for the vaccinations and the amount allowed for the office visit.

On first wellcare submission, Not what I expected
On first wellcare submission, coverage was not what expected. Had Embrace and their coverage was much better than Pets Best. They covered 100% while Pets Best was only about 50%

Smaller reimbursement than expected
It probably says this in the small print, but I was disappointed with my recent claim. They paid me $200 less than I expected because they only took 80% of every submission to go towards my deductible, so it took longer to reach the $500 and therefore I got back less. Why do insurance companies never give you your monies worth?

Trupanion saved my dogs life
Trupanion pet insurance saved my dogs life when he was in ICU. After 10 days of care my dog Blues vet bills were too high for us to afford. If we didn’t have trupanion to help us the decision to keep going would have been much harder. Their staff are friendly, helpful and always willing to go the extra step to help. Thank you so much trupanion - I can not recommend this company enough.

Pet's Best Buys Their Reviews
Pet's Best is the absolute scam of any insurance. I am calling the BBB, the California Insurance Board and anyother place I can urge people not to do anything with this company. They buy their reviews, I have a 10yr dogson he hasn't been to the vet since the pandemic went into this awesome vet that my friends recommended this was just an initial wellness check up, met the vet get blood drawn see what shots he needs etc. While there Vet listened to his heart and said it sounds like he has a heart murmur, he needs xrays and blood later we will need an ecogram (650.) left there with blood work, xrays everything was actually really good. I spent 650 dollars for that mind you I'm thinking they will reimburse (from what the reviews say) 80% within a week. FIrst it took 45 days of which I paid Pet's Best 100. a month for 3 months already, my deductible is 500. lol which is a joke. Everytime I called up there were countless excuses they even used the hurricane as an excuse told me they called me vet and they never got them the paperwork (yes they did) I even got them the paperwork personally along with the x ray which showed my dogs heart was good. Last night I received an email saying they were going to reimburse me 8.00 lol cancelled the policy immediately, refused to returned my 300. I paid for nothing. Also just to note they used VET TECH's to determine your claim not Veterinarians DO NOT USE THEM.

Cryptorchidism
I had a great experience with the representative that I spoke with regarding my dogs benefits. Unfortunately they aren’t able to cover neuter due to cryptorchidism as it is considered a defect/abnormality. Along with any related illnesses from the cryptorchidism such as cancer and testicular torsion. I am not to surprised I’m just glad that they were able to answer my questions. They didn’t make these policies so there was definitely no need to get upset with the representative.
