The ease of applying
I was able to add my second dog to the Nationwide pet insurance thru my employer. The premium comes out weekly from my paycheck so that I don't have to worry about forgetting to pay it. My 2 German shepards are covered in case anything happens. Nationwide as a company has been great. Haven't had to use the insurance but I would rather have it and not need it then need it and not have it.

My daughter suggested I switch my current policy to Nationwide and glad I did because it provides a wide range of coverage for my 2 young cats. They are 1 year old. The customer service rep was thorough in explaining the policy and patient with my questions.

Trupanion loves my dog as much as I do
I purchased Trupanion insurance for my Maltipoo as a 12 week old pup. She is now 14 1/2 yo and has had several medical issues in her lifetime. I can attest that Trupanion has been there for us-covering some very expensive surgeries and life threatening illness. I can’t emphasize enough the comfort it gave me to know that I have been able to provide the best for my sweet girl financially because I have Trupanion. I’m now retired and on a very strict budget. I consider Trupanion a necessary monthly expense and am hopeful to continue to be able to give my girl the best medical care with Trupanion’s help.

We have been very pleased with our Trupanion Insurance for our cat. We bought it when she was a kitten. It was reasonably priced. In the 13 years we had her the proce increase in was reasonable. While she was young, she did not need it since this did not cover routine veterinary visits. As she got older Trupanion came through when she had sickness and needed more veterinary care. The claims were easy to submit after vet visits and reimbursement was quick. This insurance was great as advanced/emergency care was needed. These clinics took direct payment to these clinics. They were even willing to pay a large amount towards major surgery directly to the emergency clinic. This made more option when considering critical care. Veterinary care is very expensive and Trupanion made it much easier to take care and make decisions for our dear cat.

I would recommend this pet insurance because I was a little worried that they would not reimburse me for my dog emergency visit but they did. I had no problems. They live up to what they said that they would do.

I have been a client of Trupanion for over 8 years. Claims are processed quickly and efficiently. Reimbursement for claims are received quickly. If you need to speak with customer service representatives my experience has always been positive. Representatives are pleasant and very helpful.

The ASPCA app simply stopped working!!!!! How can any company that requires you to file claims get away with not having a working app???? Now I have to snail mail everything!!!
