After researching many different pet…
After researching many different pet insurance companies and reading hundreds of reviews... I opted to choose a plan with ManyPets. I have not had to use it yet, but the rate and deductible are by far the most reasonable for my needs. The declarations and coverage are easy to understand as well.

Haven't had to use the policy
Haven't had to use the policy, but credit card renewal did not occur and the Nationwide agent, Miikai, helped me out and brought the account up to date. He was a knowledgeable and professional young man. Hope to never use the policy, but so far, a good experience with Nationwide.

I have 7 of my animals on Healthy Paws…
I have 7 of my animals on Healthy Paws insurance and they have e been great with each one. My dog had to have major surgery last week and healthy paws was extremely helpful. I had my refund within a week of submitting!

Most things are uncovered
The sales person was brutally honest while explaining to me that most claims would be denied. That is because your pet is expected not to have the same illness in the past 6 months which tells me that the pet has to experience a new disease for your claim to be honored every time... seroiusly? Which treatment guarantees a living being disease-free for 180 days. Infectious diseases, for example, can repeat any time in that time period.

Disappointing
Disappointing. Ear Infection denied for a pre-existing condition of skin itch as another "dermatological" condition. I feel that the intention is not to pay the claim and figuring out how to do that as opposed to offering some real pet insurance

It is a total SCAM
It is a total SCAM! First, it is so hard to get reimbursed. I paid $150 for heartworm protection shot, but they only reimbursed $21. Second, they do not allow you to cancel. They has some kind of contract with the bank. When you replace the credit card with the bank, your payment information will automatically renewed on their website. It is HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Call and Speak about the best policy for your pet
I just got off the phone with Ashley. She was so helpful in making me more comfortable with a customized policy within my budget for my 7yr old Basset Hound. For me, I purchased the Exam Plus and Congential/Heriditary add ons. I think it's important you understand what you are buying and don't just sign up on line without having a conversation. Pretty sure that would resolve negative reviews I see. I have a better understanding of coverage now and feel more secure in what I have purchased. Ashley was so helpful, honest and provided some feedback of what may be best for my hound. I am so glad I spoke to a live person which unlike most companies these days, you get right away!! Thank you Ashley for your help.
