It is a total scam
It is a total scam. I will no longer be paying for their service and am slightly upset that I could have signed up with another insurance and got a much better service. The time it takes to process for them just to deny it is aggravating. Please save your money and look somewhere else.

So thankful for Trupanion!
My guy Wiley has gastrointestinal issues that is so common in this breed. Despite being on prescription diet we can still come down with vomit/diahrrea that is expensive to diagnose. Once a health issue is diagnosed, Trupanion covers the treatment costs for life.

Disappointed due to 35% rate increase…
Disappointed due to 35% rate increase in first year. Read many other reviews with extremely high rate increases. Would recommend looking elsewhere or saving money monthly for future costs. I am not looking for a canned response letting me know how hard the management team works to keep costs low or that my account cannot be found…just wanted to share others so that they do not make the same mistake that I did of expecting a reasonable premium to remain.

They processed my last claim incorrectly started a new claim and therefore restarted my deductible for same issue and are making it very difficult to get an appeal through even though the vets office called and the invoice clearly shows it’s a problem

Seems like they do their best to avoid meeting my deductible.
