Save your money
We have been going back and forth with Embrace regarding our puppy's first claims due to him ingesting my husband's wedding band since July. We filed a complaint with the better business bureau and I just got a notification this morning (we filed the complaint yesterday) that they are reviewing his medical history and it could take up to another 30 days for them to decide whether or not they will cover the claims. For the record my dog was not born with my husband's wedding band in his stomach in case that needed to be clarified.

My fluffy pup has been covered by Trupanion for almost 10yrs. They have never failed to reimburse our claims and have assisted us with care of his lifelong liver issues which has ultimately increased his quality of life. Embrace has reimbursed me for my dog's last claim, not at a 100 percent coverage but at least something. His vet is very expensive and every time I take him there, I end up with a 300-to-500-dollar bill. So, this insurance company helps a little bit. I wish the deductible wasn't so high and be reimbursed for at least 90 percent instead of 80.
