Great experience, but…
We haven’t had a bad experience with Pet’s Best! The only reason for the four star review is how long it took for our claim to be processed, but they did send an email in the meantime letting us know that they received it and were backed up with claims at this time. So I did appreciate the transparency!

The entire process was simple
The entire process was simple, streamlined, expedient...and very much appreciated. Filing a claim via the website, we simply completed the claim form and attached a couple of reference documents from our vet. The Embrace Team immediately acknowledged the claim, informed me of progress along the way, and notified me when the claim was completed. From start to finish (reimbursement check received)...maybe a weeks' time. We will remain loyal customers and highly recommend.

Insufficient Choices in Diagnosis Drop Down.
The web site did not allow us to give a more accurate diagnosis because it wasn't listed. Had to use one provided in the drop down or it said the claim would be slowed down. We put diarrehea down which was not the closest reason for the office visit but was the closest to an eating disorder which was not listed.

Better than my personal health insurance
We have been a Healthy Paws member for six years and luckily have had only one major health issue with our adopted dog. He recently underwent surgery on his knee for a luxated patella. The claim process couldn’t have been easier. I was nicely surprised that the check arrived within a week of submitting the claim and all of the surgery expenses were covered including post rehab treatments, no questions asked. They even followed up after the surgery to check up on his progress. If only my health insurance company was so customer focused! Sent from my iPad
