Quick and easy
Very fast and easy to get my pet insured, however I wish they would provide more information about the coverage and even possibly an insurance card.

Website is not clear about congenital…
Website is not clear about congenital conditions. They are not really covered if the animal has any record of diagnosis even without symptoms and certainly not when symptomatic. So if you have adopted a rescue dog, you are out of luck if anything goes wrong. Healthy Paws is the same.

Not as caring as you think
Horribly run company by lying, condescending, inconsiderate, entitled group of people. Don’t think for a second they care about you or your sick/injured pet because they don’t. They only care about lining their pockets and not helping you. They didn’t cover anything with my pup with his broken paw. They called me yesterday 11-9-22 to tell me they’re not going to cover anything because my pup didn’t get a second exam, which no one told me. It’s just these greedy people coming up with something in order not to pay.

Horrible experience with the insurance…
Horrible experience with the insurance claims department. I had to call 5-6 times and it took more than 2 months to get my claim approved despite providing all the documents needed. They closed my case 2 times without telling me exactly which document they were missing and upon call backs kept promising for a speedy reslution that never happened. Will not renew and never go back to this insurance company.

Excellent Service
We greatly appreciate Embrace Pet Insurance. We recently lost our dog to a battle with an auto-immune disease. Having Embrace, allowed us to focus on managing her treatment instead of the costs. The claims process was very easy, and they provided excellent customer service. We will always have Embrace Pet Insurance for our pets.

May drop coverage
This is my first dog and I wish I knew about Health insurance for dogs before I got her. As a puppy, she had some vomiting and diarrhea problems right away. Initially Trupanion covered our claims related to dehydration, but after requiring an abdominal ultrasound to diagnose her problem, Trupanion informed us they would no longer cover digestive issues, claiming they were preexisting. Very disappointing. We are considering dropping coverage because this is her predominant issue, and although she is greatly improved, if “digestive issues” are no longer covered, the cost of continuing coverage with no benefit is of no value to us.
