Best Pet Insurance Company
Weâve never had any type of pet insurance with our other pups but after our last Boston Terrier got sick and the bills were so high we said when we get another pup we will get the insurance. We are so happy we chose Trupanion. After our pup getting hit by a car and needing two surgeries, etc this company could not of been any better. Just wonderful.

Do your research on this company.
Do your research on this company, pre-existing determinations seem quite arbitrary and dicey. Ask for a copy of your pets “medical records summary” once you enroll and look at what could be considered pre-existing. I also could never get an answer as to why they don’t offer accident only insurance, probably because it’s difficult to consider pre-existing. I cancelled after 4 years of annually increasing premiums when the last was over 40%.

As a new client i has to call to see if i could fax a claim vs going on apple and First Lady i got was rude and not helpful but i call back got Adam and he was awesome you need to keep him.. he was very helpful and very polite and concerned that all my questions were answered.. i give him 10 starts and hope if i ever have to call back i get him to help me..

The communication has been inconsistent…
The communication has been inconsistent and sporadic. It is not detailed. I received an email stating payment was declined but I had notified them the card was stolen and needed to be corrected. Then, the claim status came back as changed with a claim amount of $0.00 but the invoice amount submitted is $931.85. It makes no sense.
