Kayla is a wonderful representative for Nationwide.
I have Pet Wellness Plus policies for 7 of my dogs. I have always had great service from the representatives I have talked to at Nationwide. Yesterday, Kayla helped me with various questions and was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I have an on-going problem with claims because my vet clinic apparently codes their invoices in a way that makes the Nationwide adjusters miss the heartworm test. I have to call Nationwide every time about this, which accounts for the 4-star vs. 5-star rating, but the representatives are always willing to help resolve the issue.

French bulldog insurance
As you may guess, French bulldogs are not that easy to insure however pets plus us makes communication and submitting claims easy with their online portal. They are generally very quick with responses and list that exact reasons you were approved/ need more information. Overall I am happy with their services.

If I were leaving this review a couple of years ago after several very positive claim experiences (unlike other reviews here I found the claims process to be quite straightforward and generous), it would be 5s across the board. However, this company has raised our premium exactly 50% in each of the past 3 years, for a currently monthly rate of $273.10. They clearly apply astronomical rate increases as a pet becomes "senior", knowing full well there are no other options and putting owners in an impossible situation due to age and pre-existing conditions. Rate increases are inevitable in this corrupt system, but this practice is truly predatory. RUN AWAY from Health Paws Pet Insurance.
