As a professional, I do not recommend HealthyPaws
I am an emergency veterinarian and as such, I know full well the benefits of a good pet insurance provider. I have also been a client of HealthyPaws for several years now. Recently, without any notice, my premiums increased by almost 50%. Only a few years prior, Washington fined this company and made it pay back $4.7 million in unauthorized charges. That alone should have been a red flag for me. I have never filed a claim and my dog has been otherwise healthy. The response of the company representative was cold, rude and otherwise unprofessional. Having dealt with other companies through work, I have seen the quality of care provided by HealthyPaws decline substantially. I will not be recommending them to my clients going forward.

Best pet insurance ever!
Beckett tore her ACL/CCL and required a very expensive surgery for repair. I submitted the invoices and my Vet submitted their clinical paperwork and her claim was paid within 10 days. I received email updates on my claim status as well as an email to check on how Beckett was doing post surgery.

Healthy Paws offers peace of mind from financial worries
I've had Healthy Paws for 3 of my dogs and their customer service has been outstanding. Premiums aren't cheap but neither are the vet bills. It's good to know that when something happens to my dogs, I won't be stressed over the bills. Having to decide if it's financially feasible to get your dog the care it needs is a position that my pet insurance has eliminated. I don't ever want to be in a situation again of having to decide if I can afford the vet care in an emergency. Haven't had any problems with coverage as claims are quickly processed and reimbursements sent in a timely manner.

So easy and fast to submit a claim and Trupanion is quick to respond and reimburse!
Our first kitty that we insured with Trupanion unfortunately wound up with FIP and past away at only 10 months old. It broke our hearts since he was the coolest kitty ever! Trupanion made it easier by helping us with the financial burden that came with his disease. We decided to use Trupanion again with our next kitty a couple of years later and since he was diagnosed with severe respiratory issues we have been fortunate to have Trupanion, yet again, help us with the recurrent financial burden that he has been giving us. We love him so much and are grateful for Trupanion. They have been quick to respond to claims and have compensated us without any problems.

My claim was processed so quickly! I uploaded the info from my cat's medical visit on Sunday, I received an email Monday that it was being processed and the money was reimbursed via direct deposit by Tuesday! No hassle and simple instructions. Love it already!
