I have been with Sonnet 4 years I missed a payment unbeknownst to me you stated I received 2 letters did not just one!!!and cancelled my policy I have recommended you to many friends who I will contact about your abrupt treatment. You would think during the worst time in Canadian History you would be generous in ensuring “checking” why payment was missed in stead of sending update paydetails and surveys!!! As neither allowed me in a panic to fix? What is actually wrong with people these days? Despicable

Pets are simply not inexpensive
Pets are simply not inexpensive! We never know when an incident( illness, injury, incident) can cost hundreds and even thousands. Knowing I have insurance, I can budget monthly for the potential of bigger ticket situations is comforting and financially securing. I add this to my standard Wellness program, and rarely do I pay out of pocket.

Absolute piece of mind !
Not quite 2 months ago Baxter had a urinary obstruction. It is considered a medical emergency. Having lost a feline fur baby 2 years ago from this I was a wreck! After all was said and done with Baxter's care, I submitted the vet notes of the incident to Healthy Paws. The app was simple to use, and when I had a question the staff was so supportive and understanding! They are also excellent at communicating the process as well, I had follow up emails and the like. Within 5 days of my claim, everything was completed and I had my money 2 days later! So thankful for Healthy Paws!!!!!

Unsophisticated ecommerce and no technical support
I was unable to file a claim on the iPhone app. It is very difficult to find a support contact, and I found only phone support. No email, no chat, Further, the support is for coverage and filing issues. It is not technical support. It is no surprise that the agent was unable to offer any assistance. The only help offered was a physical address to submit claims by postal mail. Though not suggested or offered, It turned out that the website worked fine. Maybe there are better providers, but Pet's Best seems to lack polish and a grasp of modern commerce. 20 years ago I considered insurance for a new puppy. Because so many conditions were not covered, I chose not to buy. Twenty years later, the industry appeared top have matured a bit. I now question that. With a new puppy, I purchased from Pet's Best. On my first claim I was denied. I thought I'd bought wellness coverage, but I did not. My second claim, for a medical condition, was also denied. Apparently I sought reimbursement for what Pet's Best considers a pre-existing condition. If this develops into a chronic condition, I suspect I'll never see reimbursement.
