Pumpkin Large premium increase
Purchased 20K/90%/$250 for 1 year old Goldendoodle. Cost $55 (TX). Had 2 claims: one for diarrhea (went toward deductible) and 1 for paw treatment (poison ivy) for $300. New premium for 2 years old: $77. "Not due to claim history, but due to your pet's age and your location". I contacted Pumpkin, got reply: "Your pet growing older", "Due to advancements in veterinary treatments, vets can now do more for our fur babies", "Rates and age factors are filed and approved by your state's department of insurance." I researched and compared many pet insurances before buying Pumpkin. I know it is a relatively young company. But I did not see any reviews about 50% premium increase in 1 year.

Excellent Customer Service!
Lemonade has exceeded all of our expectations! We filed a claim for our dog who ingested a toy and it was approved within days. From the ease of filing the claim, to the rapid response, to the direct deposit into our bank account was lightening fast. I highly recommend Lemondade!

So far my Figo experience is 100% negative
So far my Figo experience is 100% negative. I have submitted only one claim in over a year (2 pets) and that claim was denied incorrectly. The reason given was that “exam fee coverage was not selected at the time of policy purchase.” But it was. I wrote requesting clarification and have not had a response. I would appreciate a prompt resolution. Seems like an unwise time to ask me to write a review but I hope it will lead to a helpful response.

Trupanion has saved both our dogs’ Lives!!
I never have to worry about my claim not being accepted. Never have to worry how much I’ll have to pay cause I know in advance and RIGHT AWAY. I feel assured knowing we have trupanion to keep my pups alive…which they have had to do and done every time. We truly appreciate them and wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Puts Us At Ease
Easy app. You pay for what you say you’re going to pay for. I would never operate on a reimbursement basis with human healthcare, but with you I know it will get covered and that I’ll get my reimbursements promptly. Never put in a bad spot. Also, our dog is alive because of your plan that covers up to $10k.

I wish human insurance was as good as…
I wish human insurance was as good as my Dogs. They have never failed to be honest and responsive. After my dogs surgery, Tonya called me and checked on her condition. She also answered all my questions and made sure to let me know that once my deductible was met, if my dog had any other complications regarding this claim, my expenses would only be the small percentage I agreed to pay. My friend just took his dog to the emergency room and payed 1400.00 I just had major surgery and payed a couple hundred for everything. Soooo impressed with Trupanion.
