Overall I recommend
I love the policy that I have and it’s turned out to be a blessing with the puppy we adopted who is inclined to eat things she shouldn’t. I love that it covers 100% accident and prevention. Customer service has been friendly. What I would like to see is (1) if they say a drug will be approved with a vets prescription, please approve it. (2) Process the claims in a way that makes sense. There are times when not 100% is covered and it should be, or there is one huge lump sum that I can’t figure out belongs to what claim. (3) Make the benefit statements be available online or in the app. I’m reliant on the paper statement they send to align back to the claim. It’s challenging to figure out what was processed vs not. (4) Consistently use the date of service instead of randomly inserting other dates for the claims, so, again, I can follow what was processed. It is a great insurance, I just wish it took less time to figure out the status of the claim and tie back payment to the actual claim.

I’m starting to feel like this is a scam
I have had their pet insurance for years and just filed my first few claims. All were rejected except 1 under $100 as it does not even cover my deductible so why would they care. Their reasoning for denying the claims? I went to the vet about the same issue months ago… is that not the exact reason for getting pet insurance so I can seek treatment for reoccurring issues… anyways I will be cancelling. What a waste of $2000+

The representative I spoke to today was Carl, and he was great. He took the time to explain things to me and I did not feel rushed on the phone at all. He made sure I could find exactly what I was looking for. Thank you Carl!

This is a great pet insurance company.
This is a great Pet Insurance company!! Not only do they process claims fast, their customer service are very thoughtful people and you’re not on hold for a long time when trying to reach them. I have had them for years for my previous baby which I sent many claims in and was reimbursed within 2 weeks all the time, and when my Baxter passed, they sent me a sympathy card and also called me. I just enrolled my new boy which I adopted from a shelter and I feel good about him having coverage, because you never know what can happen to a pet. Having coverage for him makes me feel at ease if anything were to happen unexpectedly, and I will get help paying the vet bill. I’m not sure about the passing date of Baxter, and really don’t want to visit the date he passed, but the month I posted is accurate. They paid for the cremation and I have his ashes in a beautiful box. I suggest for all animal lovers to get the full coverage with the 250.00 deductible, they will pay up to 4,000 for that plan and you all know how expensive vet visits are and even more for the Hospitals that want 2,000 just to check what’s wrong with a sick animal. I could never put an animal down because of the high price of emergency services which sadly many do because they don’t have 2,000 upfront to save them, so this is a great insurance to help with that. Please insure your pets! We love our babies and they love us! Keep them protected.
