Over a 60 year span I¡¦ve been in that position economically. I¡¦m so thankful this time around I purchased health insurance thru Trupanion. They have made a horrific situation acceptable.

I am in the middle because as my dog gets older the price goes up.
I am in the middle because as my dog gets older the price goes up. Its like any medical insurance. You need it but my never use it. Your agents are great. The high deductible is difficult too. And the deductible is not for all medical issues its PER MEDICAL ISSUE. It's costly but I have it in case of accident or real life threatening issues that could be not affordable to treat.
