Trupanion has been so great
Trupanion has been so great. We have a 2 year old dog that was just diagnosed with stage 3 kidney disease. I am SO happy we decided to get pet insurance when he was a puppy.

Healthy Paws is a great company
I've been insured with Healthy Paws since getting my first dog in 2017. Healthy Paws is great to deal with and they make filing claims very easy. They have excellent communication and keep customers updated with their claims process. Payments also arrive quickly. I'm very pleased with the company and recommend it to anyone!

I wouldn’t trust them with anything….
I have held a nationwide pet insurance policy since 2019, all was great until a couple weeks ago. When I had an emergency with my Labrador that unfortunately ended in goodbyes. I had discovered that the policy was canceled due to an expired debit card. I never once received any notification from their billing department via mail, phone or email. We are now stuck paying an insane amount out of pocket. In an attempt to reinsure my remaining pet, I rushed to reapply. To my surprise, Im receiving email and letter notifications with these time sensitive requests. Clearly something has changed on their end. Their previous lack of communication seems intentional. If youre thinking about utilizing Nationwide for anything, DONT. I will not trust them with our business, our policies or our pets ever again.

Exorbitant price increases!!!!!
The rates have gone up an average of 30-40% every year. This year for my 2 dogs it is going up 258%. It is going from $138.09 to $356.39. One of the dogs went up 320% because he turned 10. The other is only 4 years old and went up 55%. Despite what they say in their reply it is not true. My 10 year old has been insured since he was a puppy. He has never had a surgery! He las low thyroid and arthritis, that’s it!

Great Company!
Well, worth the peace of mind. Payment for qualified expenses has been quick and hassle free. Can’t say the same about another large insurance company that starts with an E. That company gladly took my money, but refused to pay for qualified claims, despite my vet writing letters. I love try-panion and have, and will continue,to recommend them to every pet owner!

Embrace Gelp!!
Embrace is great. I love that I am a member for 15 or more years. Very good to us. Yesterday though was the first time someone said they were going to send me a spread sheet of my dogs, Lexi, Jake, and Kings charges( how much did we spend on each dog). I told him that we need an idea of the charges to make an informed decision on picking a new policy. I have not received this spread sheet. This is the first time this has happened. I was being encouraged to maintain the 10000 reimbursement when I am trying to decide on the pricing. The amt has gone up and I need to review my option I was hoping for someone to help me with this issue. No help and no spread sheet. I have been a member for a long time. Normally I have no problems with my claims however I was unable to submit the claim through the regular channels and had to send the information email. I have been asked numerous times fir the diagnosis for this claim for Boo and have replied. I have now just resulted the entire thing because now the suit claim process is working which unfortunately is not always the case. I hope my resubmission helps

Trupanion is always quick with their review and reimbursements. If something is not covered, they explain thoroughly. If your Veterinary Hospital participates, they can submit and receive payment directly while you are checking out. We highly recommend them.
