I love Lemonade!

My pup has a sensitive stomach and typically needs frequent visits to the vet. Every time I need to submit a claim lemonade makes it so easy! The staff are always friendly and open to any questions I have. Highly recommend!

Trupanion has made me go crazy

Trupanion has made me go crazy - I have mental breakdowns dealing with their reasoning and mistakes over our plan and history. Originally when I signed up they provided me with false information about the plan, deductible and information I had no idea and didn’t even realize and try fix the problem until I filed my first claim and realized how large the consequences were on my family because of it. Customer service refused to do anything and waiting days for a supervisor when you work full time and have a family and life was a long hassle. I ended up having to file a BBB complaint against the company - since they were admitting they messed up but oh we are an insurance company we don’t want to fix it. It took forever to get it fixed. Fast forward (I have multiple dogs) my dog was acting wierd and vomiting frequently so I brought her in for blood work and everything was good. She has high anxiety and it cleared within a few days. Trupanion declined the claim and all future claims - they claim that a vet we saw previously diagnosed belle with liver cancer. SHE DOES NOT AND HAS NEVER HAD ANY FORM OF CANCER. This vet we saw twice once for an anxiety medication refill and once for vaccinations. We never went to the clinic again as they said they couldn’t accommodate my three dogs for appointments due to the volume of clients they had. This vet gave info to trupanion dated almost 6 months after my dogs last appointment with the clinic. Now this appointment for belle was around a year after we did her vaccines. They told trupanion they diagnosed belle with liver cancer with no testing, no suggestive symptoms and no proof. I had proof that when they wrote that about my dog it was over 5 months after belles appointment. TRUPANION WILL NOT ACCEPT THE PROOF because solely they do not ever want to pay. Belle has had real vet services at other clinics and no symptoms. Her blood work she just had was also clean but trupanion is claiming because she vomited for a couple days she has liver cancer and won’t cover any current or future appointments. Even with all my proof they refuse to even humour me while I collect. Essentially they want me to pay even more and get my current vet to disprove her apparent liver cancer with no guarantee of coverage regardless. Now another issue with my dog having an emergency visit they won’t cover claiming it’s my responsibility to pay for her emergency because it wasn’t an emergency it was routine maintenance. What normal person would EVER pay $250 walk in fee for fun? One of the secondary conditions to my dogs digestive issues led to a bad anal glad infection that we are overall treating and watching to see what’s the best course to take. One being injections that require sedation. And trupanion thinks that’s maintenance? I’m not getting my dogs anal glands expressed for maintenance if i was why would I even submit those receipts? Any part of an ANIMAL regardless of what kind - has maintenance they need for a good life. ANY of those body parts, organs or anything can be affected as secondary conditions such as infections, injury or other. Now somebody tell that to trupanion! It’s disgusting what they claim they can do - then claim they have pets interests at heart. What would happen if my dog had an injury and her anal glands got affected? Oh that’s bodily maintenance? Nobody wants to act like a Karen or freak out but when your paying HUNDREDS per month to protect your pets and get horrible service, excuses and overall feel like your being stolen from there’s only so much you can take before you force a company to take responsibility

ManyPets offered the best coverage to meet the need of my pets.

ManyPets offered the best coverage to meet my pet's needs at a reasonable cost. The website was clear, extremely easy to navigate and made choosing the plan an easy task. The insurance document came immediately and was thorough. I am relieved that Elizabeth the Destroyer, my beautiful, 10 month old, mixed breed pup, is covered for veterinary emergencies.

I received paperwork in the mail today…

I received paperwork in the mail today for my 3 pets that I enrolled. But it did not include info on the wellness plan that I opted for as well. I would have like to have gotten more info electronically right away after enrolling, in a easier to understand right away how the policy will work and how claims are made. Its a lot of money.

Horrible Customer Service

They are horrible. Everything is a preexisting condition, and they do not cover for anything, and when you call them they do not even try to help you. Waste of time. Waste of money
