Pet Insurance Is Important
My Yorkie was diagnosed with TCC bladder cancer in September 2022. Fetch has not denied a single claim for his treatments from the standard chemo treatments to the FidoCure treatment. These treatments are by no means inexpensive. Without the coverage offered by Fetch the financial decisions would have been much more difficult. I urge everyone to carry insurance on their pets. Yes, it's not inexpensive as they get older, but it is a lot less expensive than paying for a cancer diagnosis out of pocket.

Worse Customer Service Experience of My Life
Absolutely disgusting behavior from this company. I called to request further information before I bought insurance for my pet and a customer service rep named Jason decided to talk down to me and be utterly disrespectful on call when I asked for a supervisor he said there was no one. I can't believe a company like this would allow such behavior and rudeness to customers.

Excellent Response to Case
Vet examined our dog as was vomiting every couple hours, shaking and not drinking any water for over 12 hours. Recommended a couple of tests and examine and hydration and anti nausea meds injections. We have Trupanion Inurance and when checked out we were told immediately what Trupanion covered and the amount was already applied to our bill. We were vey happy we signed up for this coverage for unexpected events that may happen to our dog. Thank you for your quick response Trupanion. Our dog is back to himself.

The website states claims to be…Disappointed
The website states claims to be processed in 3-14days. This is inaccurate it’s closer to 30 days. They have little to no communication about the process and the communication from representatives when you call is not accurate. They will state there is not any issue with the claims and no additional information needed. Like many insurance companies your lucky if you get any money back and they will along-gate the process to not pay. It’s more like paying a monthly fee to gamble if they will reimburse you for illnesses or accidents. Disappointed in the service, process, and reimbursement. Overall their bed side manner is lacking with processing claims of deceased dogs. Although I realize these are automatic email messages some care and dignity would be appreciated when stating I’m $7 closer to being reimbursed for my deceased dogs care over the next 12 months.

Embrace Pet Insurance did a wonderful…
Embrace Pet Insurance did a wonderful job covering my service dog who just passed. In his later years, he had to have quite a few vet visits. Embrace was a Godsend financially, helping me to care for him as he aged. Our wonderful, understanding, and comprehensive adjuster Alissa is one of the most compassionate people I have ever met. She was patient and kind. After his passing every I talked to at Embrace was so caring when it came to the loss of my best friend. Not only did they cover everything from his last hospital stay, but they were supportive of me in my loss. I don’t know how I would’ve gotten through this without them, specifically our adjuster. I highly recommend Embrace for anyone who loves their pet and wants to make sure that they get the best over the course of their lifetime.

Figo hides all of the tiny printed…
Figo hides all of the tiny printed details in their policy information. Essentially what it says, when I finally found it is that in the first 6 months of coverage,( in my case a 10 week old puppy) everything is an exclusion including anything orthopedic, gastrointestinal and skin related. That is basically EVERYTHING! If you make a single claim in the first 6 months, it is considered a pre-existing condition and therefore will NEVER be covered again in the pups life. This insurance is a SCAM. The policy was $104 and I paid for 9 months before I read the other reviews and realized how useless this insurance is. CANCEL NOW!!

Don't listen to negative reviews, clearly they didn't read the policy
I'm reading other reviews and I'm blown away at how little people know and how no one takes any responsibility just blames trupanion. READ THE INFO PEOPLE, PRE EXHISTING CONDITIONS AREN'T COVERED on any pet insurance and many human insurances. Guess what, doesn't make it trupanions fault and deserving of a negative review. I unfortunately fell into pre existing category with one of my dogs and I had to pay. That's how life works with pet and human insurance. It's mind blowing how, ummmmmm uneducated or ignorant people are. If you take a second and read the policy maybe you can stop blaming the world and get it together. Also, find me one insurance that actually doesn't have pre exhistig condition exclusion and ill bow down cuz it doesn't exhist. All the negative reviews are people mad about the insurance policy information THEY SIGNED UP FOR BUT DIDN'T READ, and all the positive ones are how amazing this ins is and how it's helped so many. Thank you Trupanion for being so great. And I'm sorry that people point their fingers at you when there are 4 pointing right back at them. I give you credit for even taking the to acknowledge them, just another positive point for you in my book. Your 90%coverage is a literal life savior.
