Nothing gets reimbursed
Nothing gets reimbursed, yet every month they take my money for years. Just the worst coverage I can think of and criminal. I see your response. This is me; this is my full name, look up my name and you will see all the invoices, all the vet visits, look up all the monthly charges for years you took from me, and you reimbursement rate is probably around 5%. It’s not nice what you do and households and pet owners need help, you do not offer help, you are an other bill with empty promises and I am very disappointed in you. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Trupanion will never pay you
Trupanion has been a nightmare. My wife and I cancelled a separate insurance policy because our breeder offered a no waiting period option with Trupanion. Our puppy almost immediately needed surgery for intussusception which was promptly not covered as a pre-existing condition. Fine. Then a while later she started to have diarrhea unrelated to the intussusception. All 4 subsequent claims have been rejected on the basis that diarrhea was a symptom of the pre-existing condition. Great. So my wife and I call and get connected to “a pet lover” to help us out. Our vet treated the diarrhea as a symptom of giardia and confirmed it was unrelated to the surgery. On the phone the rep admitted to us that the later costs should have been covered, so we could get clarifying documents and submit an appeal. Even though the rejection was WRONG, we still have to go through additional work to get this rectified. All insurance is a scam, but Trupanion is on another level. Nightmare company disguised as pet lovers. So far we have over $5000 in attempted claims and have not been paid back a single cent. Don’t bother with this company. EDIT: today, yet another claim was denied wrongly. Trupanion will deny any claim if any symptom of a new ailment is consistent with anything labeled a pre-existing condition. The latest was a treatment for diarrhea caused by giardia, but was denied because diarrhea was a symptom of her intussusception. Our vet stated that the treatment was for diarrhea from giardia. Curse words are not strong enough to lay out how awful this company is. DO NOT GET TRUPANION INSURANCE.

I want to give a zero
I want to give a zero. My dog Dino was wobbly and collapsed. So I took him to the ER. I had no idea what was wrong with him. I got a vet bill of $1400. Trupanion paid zero stating upset GI tracks are not covered. Not fair. I thought my dog was dying. Looking for insurance now that covers everything.

Scam avoid this rip off.
You cannot email Fetch. The live chat does not function when you get an agent. They have multiple phone numbers but you cannot get results. They took over my previous pet insurance without proper notification. They have a multi page policy that allows then to reject all claims. Trying to cancel is ridiculously difficult.
