I am still waiting on hard copies of my insurance documents for the three puppies, snd no one has contacted me since I joined two weeks ago you are lucky you got what you got if I ran my business like this I would be out of business in other words you need to improve or I will take my business elsewhere!!

I had pet insurance with Nationwide for my 7 previous pets over 20 years. With my new pet, I adopted in 2022, I found that what Pets Best offered was SUPERIOR to Nationwide and other pet insurance policies, in coverage and price of policies. Pets Best reimbursement period is within 2 weeks; even for a very expensive claim that involved a broken leg and surgery. I'm an extremely happy customer and highly recommend Pets Best for your fur baby.

WE CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT TRUPANION!
Trupanion is AMAZING! They have been there every step of the way with out 3-year old furbaby. Our vet and our local emergency animal hospital both participate, which makes claims processing a breeze. They submit the bill - I instantly receive a text that it is being processed and within 3-5 minutes receive a claim approval and what our co-pay is. Zero paperwork! I loved it because you can select your own deductible and then they pay 90% of the balance after the office visit charge. This will be the only pet insurance we purchase from now on. They make you feel like they really care about your pet!

Fetch refuses to pay medical claim
My cat Charlie had tooth resorption. Our vet recommended a board certified dental specialist. Fetch rejected our claim for this specialist claiming that Charlie had periodontal disease before we took out the policy. They claim he had periodontal disease because Charlie's 1st vet check up at age 1 shortly after adopting him notes "mild calc" under tooth examination notes. Our vet says Charlie did not have periodontal disease at that time. We were not told Charlie had dental problems until 2 years later. I believe the reason Fetch denied the claim is because we have another cat named Max who also had tooth resorption. Fetch paid for Max's specialist visit and treatment a year ago even though Max's vet records ALWAYS noted dental issues and Max had several teeth removed 2 years before Max's Tooth Resorption diagnosis. It does not make senese that they paid for Max's treatment but refuse to pay for Charlie's. This seems to indicate that once you get a claim paid by Fetch you are flagged and they don't want to pay anything more. Charlie's claim (Our 1st claim for Charlie in 2 years of having the policy) should have been paid. I spoke to a very cold and unpleasant Fetch supervisor named Don about the claim denial. He did not listen to anything I said and kept repeating that the claim was denied because Charlie had periodontal disease before coverage. All Fetch cares about is profits and how they can get out of paying a claim.

Trupanion is a dog parents' best friend
I have had Trupanion since my Loki was a puppy, and every time something happens with my boy, I feel a relief that I have Trupanion. Vets are expensive, and not having to decide on my boy's care because of cost is great. The whole process with Trupanion is pretty great. Quick claims, decisions, and turn around. I also really like the direct billing. Thanks, Trupanion team. I constantly refer anyone who asks to your company because it just makes sense.

Just wanted to say thank you for all you have done for my 2 girls! Bella had 12 yrs of service and you paid out over $100,000. In her lifetime. Because of your company, I never worried about how to pay for all of her health concerns. Knee surgeries, diabetes, trachea issues, blindness, and countless other issues. There was a lot! When I finally let you know she passed away, you talked me through it and your compassion showed! It was truly appreciated!
