I tried to change my billing…

I tried to change my billing information on line. I spent(actually wasted) an hour trying to do this. I tried several different devices, checked my internet connection and restarted/refreshed my devices. I was having a hard time so I called Pumpkin’s customer service. The agent was nice and professional, but she was unable to help me. They can’t change billing information, it has to be done on line. This, to me was frustrating, I just want to make my payment on time and unfortunately my current card on file has been deactivated, until I get a new one.

Great Service

I reached out as I had to change the pet owner to my name and the phone service was most excellent (her name was Alicia) I submitted my claims and received notice that the $ was going to be put into my bank account. It only took 2 weeks.

They're great in every way

They're great in every way. The only stressful part is, there no doctors that accept embrace directly do therefore it can be very difficult to come up with the doctors payment upfront. It could be THOUSANDS of dollars which can be stressful. I wish embrace would make great effort to have relationships with doctors so the doctors take direct payment .

Won't ever have a pet without Embrace

We have had embrace for a few years. We have already lost one dog and almost lost our new rescue. Embrace was very helpful in covering our VERY expensive emergency bills. There are a few catches you need to ensure though. Your dog needs to get to the vet asap to confirm a clean bill of health. It is very easy to end up with pre existing conditions that will never be covered. Second, the waiting period needs to be followed. Be a good pet parent and get your animals tested for EVERYTHING. Especially your rescues. If you get in front of things and are willing to pay out of pocket at first, embrace is fantastic. Between this and our care credit card, we were able to save our new doggo girl. Without it, unaffordable vet bills become euthanasia. Every time I call, they are pleasant. Pre certification was offered and quickly accepted in our case. Claim reviews did not take more than 2 days.

As a vet see the benefit of pet…

As a vet see the benefit of pet insurance for my clients and patients every day. As the owner of 3 dogs and 5 cats I have already received over $20,000 in payments. I knew the Irish Wolfhound could be an expensive breed to own, but wasn't expecting my Husky mix from the local Reserve to need $12,000 in surgery by 1 year old. People ask why I have insurance as a vet. Easy, so I can afford to give my pets the best care possible, which means being able to send them to specialists like an orthopaedic surgeon or specialized treatments like radioactive iodine therapy for hyperthyroidism.
