I have recently retired, and Trupanion has given me peace of mind in knowing that I will be able to afford the excellent care of my Toby. I got Trupanion when he was a puppy...at his first visit with our veterinarian. This was a wise decision as Toby developed severe allergies resulting in ongoing expenses. As well, while Toby was on leash, he was attacked by another dog, resulting in recontructive surgery to his ear. Trupanion was, and continues to be by my side with immediate and efficient same day service. I highly recommend this insurance!

Trupanion is great to work with
Trupanion has been very easy to work with. Several times we have had to call to resolve issues and each time they have been patient and caring. It is especially wonderful when working with a vet who is able to direct bill Trupanion which means we are only out of pocket for our portion. In the past year our lab mix has had to have both of her CCLs repaired. Each time it was between 4000 to 5000 for the surgery, medications and aftercare. We only had to pay our 10% portion which helped make the decision to do the surgeries much easier. This latest time we picked her up from the hospital late in the evening and it was no problem getting the Trupanion portion taken care of before they completed checking us out.
