Dissatisfied
Really disappointed that my claim wasn't covered. I didn't know that there was a waiting period and made a claim for pup uti. Now she'll never be covered for any future uti, because it's perceived as a "pre existing illness" Uti is as common as a bruise or a cold!!! Very dissatisfied

Buttons has been insured with Trupanion, since 2014..I have always found the staff and the company to have our backs, in every way! Kristina was extremely friendly, efficient and knowledgeable.. she was able to answer my questions and I can only say that every companyâs customer service should take lessons from Trupanion!

I used to rave about Trupanion - quick processing, quick payment and incredibly friendly customer service - real people who answered the phone in a few rings. Until a few weeks ago. Trupanion made an error on my claim and charged my full deductible on medication my dog has taken for years. I've been a client since 2016. Instead of processing my claim after I brought it to their attention and they confirmed YES - it was their error, they said I needed to wait another 2 - 14 days before the adjustor had time to review it again. Its been a week since the error was brought to their attention with no word the adjustor has looked at it. Yet, my premium goes up every year and I have never been late or missed a payment.
