Compassion of customer care personnel…

Compassion of customer care personnel both on the phone and on chat. In May of 2021, the claims for our cat Justice were paid with alacrity and according to the contract. I just submitted the final claims for our cat, and hope to see the same accuracy and alacrity in the payment of such, knowing that there will be exclusions due to contractual stipulations.

I have found the folks at ASPCA Pet Insurance to be polite, helpful, and prompt in my dealings with them. Their coverage options are good. I have been very satisfied with their coverage and service, and I recommend them to other pet parents.

The claims process was atrocious

The claims process was atrocious. There are several public (i.e. Google) reviews stating the same. I submitted a claim on 5/31/2022. It was closed at least 3 times with the explanation medical records had not been submitted. I appealed each time and submitted records each time, along with my initial claim filing. It would take no less than 2-3 mos between filing and receiving any communication regarding outcome. I initiated every follow up with inquiries regarding status. My vet became frustrated with them due the multiple and duplications of requests for the same information. So after approximately 9 mos my claim was denied....again. I cancelled the policy within 24 hours of being notified.

Best Pet Insurance Around

I have been a customer of Pets Best for a few years now and I love them. They are very quick to process claims and their explanation of benefits on the claim is great whether I am being reimbursed or not. Their phone customer service is excellent and they always answer all of my questions. It is nice to be able to choose my deductible and copay and the multi-pet discount is a plus. I highly recommend Pets Best for your pet insurance needs.

This is the first time having pet insurance even after having many dogs as members of our familey MetLife has been a blessing to work with we have had Ares since he was 8 wks. old he will be 9 months 03/24/2023 and has had many vet visits that ins. claims were filed within 2wks. we were reimbursed from MetLife also they were very easy to file claims with

my dog ate something toxic and we went…

my dog ate something toxic and we went to the emergency vet its been 3 months they keep putting it on hold cause they dont have notes from my vet on her puppy skeletal exam from a year and a half ago my vet didn't make notes cause he didn't find any issues. but the emergency visit had nothing to do with any possible preexisting conditions. the hold up is ridiculous but their payments come out every month same day no questions. ummm well they did not anymore I'm switching.. In response to there reply below You have been called many times. I get some excuse. And the reason you cant find it under this name is I use my real last name as little as possible online, but you have it on your sight its been four months now. We live in a military town and a close friend owns a doggie day care and we used to tell there clients about you, still going to but not in the same light, I canceled Im done with you.

Fantastic customer service
