We’ve used Trupanion for over 15 years…
We’ve used Trupanion for over 15 years and until recently we were very satisfied with the service. In 2025 mistakes began to happen with claims and I had to call to have many invoices applied properly and covered. The customer support staff are wonderful people but it’s clear that they are relying heavily on AI and mistakes are being made. This requires a lot more work on the client side as we have to dispute denied claims. All in all we have been very happy, so I hope they get the AI claims worked out.

I unfortunately had to file many claims…
I unfortunately had to file many claims recently. The process of filing claims is simple. When more information was needed, it was clear and concise. I have spoken to reps on the phone and they were polite and answered my questions. Reimbursements were done in a timely manner. I am very pleased with Figo. It's not something I had hope to use, but happy that the process was simple and allowed me to provide care of our dog. She's a 8yo GSD and had a severe injury to her front leg (extreme carpal hyperextension) and then 3 months later had a emergency splenectomy and diagnosed with cancer (HSA). Having Figo has allowed us to provide care to give her a longer quality of life.
