I was amazed at what was covered for my pets knee surgery and I am very thankful. This insurance is well worth getting.

Best premium, easy signup
We signed up through our homeowners policy, that made the process more convenient and gave a degree of confidence we might not have otherwise had. Our personal vet also noted this is the insurance she sees most often, and had not experienced any issues. We did the math, for a large breed dog we would have to put away 35 per month for 8 years to pay off a standard vet bill for illness or accident (3000.) After spending 1000 on an indoor cat out of pocket, we figured the odds made insurance worth the risk. We have not needed to use the insurance and are still under the 30 day waiting period.

Denial of claim .Really????
You denied a claim when my dog had to get three teeth removed . What’s the point of having insurance if you don’t cover it ?

First claim
The claim was approved with the standard deductions. That’s why we have the policy. The only issue I have is the time for review and approval. It was a bit slow in my mind compared to previous pet insurance we have had from other companies.

I don't think I have enough space to write all of the issues that I came across when dealing with Pets Best! The name implies that they're going to take exemplary care of your animals and their families. When, in reality, they take exemplary care of their own checkbooks! They will do everything in their power to deny your claim. Even when you follow the instructions given to you by a Pets Best representative, they still deny your claims. I could've even handled the funds going towards my deductible, but they flat out denied everything ~ after I was told exactly how to take my cat to the vet and apply for insurance by their representative. Steer clear of this company!!
