Life Saver!
Having a sick pet is stressful enough and Pets Best took some of the financial burden off of us. The claims process was easy and smooth. The customer service representative even asked me about my dog and how she was doing! I was half expecting them to nickel and dime what they covered but they were great. I got exactly what was promised to me and I couldn't be happier to have Pets Best as my insurer. I will be recommending them to my friends and family

Was trying to add VETS information and could not find the area to put in. Received a email from ASPCA to do this. But nowhere was the place to enter the information. Sent a email today to there customer service about this.

I cannot get lower than 1 star. The claims dept refused the claim after an accident saying to claim against the other insurance company. It took Desgardins insurance 4 months with lawyers to get Sonnet to accept the claim. All the while Desjardins insurance paid the monthly income replacement. Kudos to Desjardins. Then after 4 months Sonnet denied the claim saying the drivers license was not the right level. Well it was at the time of the accident but downgraded during the 4 months. Sonnet is the worst as they don’t know their own industry rules. They are priced cheaply for a reason.

Pathetic
Pathetic. Coverage for my English Bulldog began when he was purchased. This means he had a FULL VET assessment and there was NO MENTION OF RESTRICTED AIRWAYS IN ANY OF HIS MEDICAL RECORDS. He just turned two this year. There was NO lapse in his policy, no missed payments (they make sure of that!!!). His policy had a $500/deductible which was met during the plan year. And the remaining was a standard 80/20. He was suffering from difficulty breathing and vomiting of phlegm. The vet immediately identified he needed soft palate surgery. This is common in similar breeds and NEEDED FOR QUALITY OF LIFE AND TO REDUCE RISK OF ASPIRATION. Basically, as he grew into an adult additional skin began to grow over airway. IT WAS NEVER A PREEXISTING CONDITION AND WE HAVE ALL HIS ROUTINE VET RECORDS TO DEMONSTRATE THIS. Full denial of his $995 claim. Explanation as follows "Medical and illness coverage is available 14-days after the Policy Effective data. Symptoms of the condition being claimed began before the effective date of the policy and is not part of the policy coverage"... Pre existing conditions. Again, UNTIL THIS EPISODE THERE WAS NO DOCUMENTATION BY LICENSED VETERNARY SERVICES OF A PROBLEM WITH AIRWAY DUE TO SOFT PALATE CONDITION.
