Pets Best is an outstanding company!
Pets Best is an outstanding company!! They sent numerous emails to let us now the status of the claim. They did all the communicating with the veterinarian and took responsibility to get all the necessary medical records. All we had to do is upload the bills. Pets Best made the process incredibly easy. I can't say enough about how great they've been.

trupanion has been my vet insurance of choice...
had trupanion for quite some time for Rosco a black lab..one day I thought I Have been paying prem for years never used it.....maybe I should cancel....Just a fleeting thought....later that month I went out of town ...after a couple of days I got a call from my wife...telling me Rosco was very sick could not keep down anything even water ...so I came right back home took him to emergency...vet...found out He has diabetes...had was having sever problems would have to stay in for at least a week to get him stablized they gave me an estimate of $6000 my wife looked at me saying can we afford this...luckly I had the policy for quite some time...so no problem ...after coming out of the hospital..paid the bill was a little concerned if it was covered....waited for a while took a little longer due to being the first claim...on day I saw the credit on my account....what a relief.....but now he was going to be on meds the rest of his life and yes they paid 90 % on that also .....for the rest of his life...Rosco died a couple of years ago (he lived 5 more years)..but had the best care possable...thousands of dollars paid....no complaints...I now have three dogs one a golden retriever, German shep mix...and a cocker spanel all covered under the plan....(the reason I got the org plan was I had a Lab name Joe that needed med care after spending thousands had to put him down......I walked away feeling empty that I could not do more...I swore to myself never again ....if you are considering pet insurance understand the deductible....most are yearly...once I paid the deductible for Roscos condition never paid another ded for the condition....even eye surgery..or medicines or his ongoing lab test that was related to his condition....the one time office visit most of us can manage .its the ongoing stuff that destroys a budget.... Rosie the Cocker spaniel...is now being treated for Cancer..two operations and chemo..all paid by trupanion still ongoing minus the deductable

Not really happy with the last refund
Not really happy with the last refund. Disappointed how little the refund/coverage was, less than 25% for a preventative/maintenance exam. Don't really see the point of continuing this coverage. Will be switching back to our old insurance soon. It is what it is!

A great partner in our puppy's care team
Trupanion has been a lifesaver for us. Our Bernese Mountain Dog puppy was diagnosed at a very young age with painful bilateral elbow dysplasia with fragmentation and has required extensive diagnostics, medications and physical therapy. Trupanion has been there with us every step of the way and covered 90% of all eligible costs (after deductible). As we go into surgery next week at one of the preferred Trupanion express clinics in the Seattle area it is a relief to know she will get the expert care she needs with the level of insurance coverage designed to make it happen. Highly highly recommend!
