10% less coverage now. Not Happy.
Claims are taking longer to process, even for repeat treatment for ongoing conditions. All of a sudden after over 13 years covering the same dog there is a 10% co-insurance deduction so now my policy covers 80% of the bill instead of 90%. I'm not happy about this.

Major slowdown in claims reimbursements
For some reason the claims are showing up more than a week after being submitted lately and it has been difficult to tell if it has even been received because the notifications aren't always sent out. For most of April I couldn't see any claims through the app, and then our premium just increased by $20 a month, while we're waiting much longer to be reimbursed. It has been great until this past month.

Our experience with trupanion is always excellent. When our Vet. files our claim, we receive a text acknowledgement within an hour. We then receive an email letting us know that the claim is being reviewed and within a very short time (usually within a day) we receive a disposition email. If the claim results in a payment/reimbursement this usually occurs within one to three days. Communications are always prompt and always courteous.
