My dog had a major emergency

My dog had a major emergency. Fetch processed the claim and made payment in an extremely timely manner. This means I did not have to pay interest on the medical bills on my credit card. Thank you!!!

Pets Best helps us give our older adoptee Spud all the care he needs!

We adopted an older dog at the beginning of the pandemic, Spud was surrendered as his owner was going to assisted living. He was obese, wheezed, could barely walk without stopping and huffing & puffing. We knew he was so well loved in his former home, but he needed help if he was going to have a great rest of his life with us. We found he had untreated heart issues, and we were so thankful that this was covered under his Pets Best insurance! Pets Best has helped us give Spud the best healthcare and medication he needs to act young again. We could not have given him this quality of life without the assistance of Pets Best. With a strict diet, exercise, and getting his health concerns under control, he is now running around, confident, and content.

Coverage problem

I’m not a fan of how I couldn’t add the preventive care option onto my dogs plan on the initial plan purchase. I tried calling to ask about it, but I kept having issues reaching a person. And now I apparently have to wait a year in order to add on the preventive care option to my coverage so any vaccines or wellness exams aren’t covered for a year.

Emergency surgery, on a holiday!

My dog had an intestinal obstruction just after Christmas 2022. (He is an 9lb Yorkie who ate a 4oz package of chocolate covered hazelnuts! One hazelnut didn’t come back up and stayed in his intestines for 4 days, causing a laundry list of ailments/problems) This incident required X-rays, an ultrasound, medications, observation, IV fluids, multiple vet visits, and ultimately- emergency surgery plus two nights in an emergency vet post surgery. This was a very stressful, emotional experience- I was really worried and upset. Once I called in to FIGO and a representative explained what would be covered, I was so relieved!! I felt so much less stress that I wasn’t going to be responsible for a total of $5,800 in vet bills, and I could focus my energy on getting him home and caring for him post surgery. At times (prior to this emergency situation) there had been small things FIGO didn’t cover (which is how insurance works) and several things they did…. But when I needed them the most, they were there. I am a very happy, grateful customer!
