This is the first time I’ve had pet insurance
This is the first time I’ve had pet insurance so I was not sure about this company or how claims were to be done. There was some confusion on the paperwork needed, but I called customer service and was able to speak with a real person concerning what was needed. I spoke with three reps who were really good listeners, interested and concerned with my questions/issues, and communicated with the claims department on the mix-ups. They were top notch! Really cared about getting things right. The claims processing is 20-40 days, and even with all the paperwork issues the claims were paid within that timeframe. I might add this was a complicated claim as it involved an emergency hospital visit, two additional vets, and an orthopedic specialist vet. I’m happy I went with Best Pets and plan to continue. Thank you Best Pets!

Pets Best has been a godsend
We have had two emergencies that each had complicated situations with multiple medical providers. Pets Best covered exactly as their contract promises and reimbursement was timely. They even apologized for being a little late.

Remington
Remington is our 5th Bernese Mountain Dog; pet insurance is value and piece of mind.
First Class Pet Insurance
Nationwide accepted ‘Wiley Jake’ for coverage prior to his 17th birthday after he completed a comprehensive physical exam. Several other insurers would not look at him at that age. He is covered under their injury/wellness package and had no pre-existing conditions.. Routine wellness checks for the first three years but age related issues developed during his 19th year including the need for some dental surgery. Nationwide requires documentation for each visit or claim which is expected. My total experience with the company has been extremely positive. They offer monthly or annual payment options, charge a $250 annual deductible and pay 90 percent of all accepted claims. Their claim submission process is seamless and website easy to navigate. They have never questioned a claim and normally provide payment within two to three weeks of claim submission. Their coverage has proved to be exactly as stated in the policy documents. I have found the company to be easy to work with and professional in all regards. Nationwide was recommended to me by others who have had similar experiences with the company. I find the company to be five star all around and give them my highest recommendation.
Losing a pet is horrible
Losing a pet is horrible - but fighting with your insurance company is a mess. We lost our 11 year old baby girl and Many Pets was quick to approve and pay all claims immediately. We have added our 2 younger dogs to the policy since.

Pet Insurance has been a literal life-saver
I adopted my senior Boston Terrier when she was 8. Almost immediately after adoption, we discovered that she had patellar luxation and needed a double knee surgery, which her insurance paid for. 2 years later, she developed catastrophic issues that sent her to the ER vet. After several days of hospitalization, it was determined that she had an undiagnosed heart valve condition and a blood condition (where her blood gets too thick.) Between the two of these issues, she had developed fluid in her abdomen and kidney shut down, with a bit of pancreatitis sprinkled on top. The entire situation cost well over $7000 to save her life. Without insurance, I don't know how we'd have paid for her care. I was in a lucky spot where when the vets proposed treatment to save her, I didn't have to stop and think, or panic about getting the money, I just got her the care I needed, knowing insurance would help cover her care. Just this year, Trudy developed a mast cell tumor in a very difficult spot in her armpit that required surgery. The location of the tumor, along with her pre-existing conditions, meant she needed to see a surgical specialist to have it removed. Once again, insurance saved the day, and I was able to get Trudy the specialty care she needed. The tumor was removed with good margins, and I have extra time with my best friend.
