Complete bait and switch company

Complete bait and switch company. My pup injured her eye playing for the 1st time. It was not a genetic condition whatsoever. Figo denied the claim even though I had an eye surgeon confirm it was due to an injury in WRITING! Claim was denied even when contested they paid ZERO dollars. Cost me over $8k out of pocket not including after care. I was so distraught I didn’t cancel. Later my dog hurt her leg as she was getting up in the years at 13. It wasn’t a huge bill but around $1000 in care and meds. Claim denied! Why do I have insurance?! I had top tier insurance I was paying for all 3 of my dogs. I was spending nearly $400 a month for several years. I would’ve been better off depositing that money in a high yield savings account! I just now got around to writing a review. Wish I had made time sooner to hopefully save you so you don’t make the same mistake I did and lose thousands of dollars!

stolen two weeks

I don't like that the insurance begins to operate two weeks after payment. I paid for a whole month, but instead I can only use insurance for two weeks of the first month

My corgi and TPLO surgery

My corgis are my world. I have two. They are not only a financial investment but also a heart healthy investment. To me they are not just dogs. So I knew when I got my first one that I was getting medical insurance for them the same as I did when I had my human children. And I’m very glad I did. When my first corgi boy was 3 he ruptured his CCL and had to have TPLO surgery. I was unfamiliar with the severity of the injury and the extent of the surgery and rehab that followed. All I could think about and care about was getting him fixed and back to his 100% self. The cost of it all was in the thousands of dollars but my mind was at ease because I knew that I had been proactive and carried insurance. The folks at HealthyPaws were phenomenal in handling my claims and showed true empathy and compassion towards my pup and me throughout the entire 3 month journey. I was able to focus solely on my pup and had peace of mind that the cost of it all was not an issue for me. Because of HealthyPaws fantastic coverage I was able to get top shelf medical care, surgery and therapy for him. Now here we are 4 yrs later same pup is now 7 yrs old and he repeated the same injury in the opposite knee. Here we go again through the very same scenario as before with surgery, rehab etc. and just like before HealthyPaws as come through for us again with flying colors! We recently added our second corgi to the family and one of the items on the list of must haves was pet insurance and this time it was a no brainer who I was contacting. I did not have to research what company was best for us because I already knew. Premiums are very affordable but the peace of mind that HealthyPaws provides is priceless. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Would recommend Healthy Paws

I adopted a terrier mix end of year 2023, and fortunately decided to take out pet insurance. This is something that I have never done before, but after my last dog of 12 years who had mast cell cancer I had spent a small fortune on vet and surgical bills. I am so glad that I decided to take out the insurance - come to find out the hard way that my terrier is extremely allergic to bees. We had an emergency trip to the vet, she went into anaphylactic shock and had to be treated. She is now taking injections for desensitization. I cannot recommend Healthy Paws insurance enough - it is so easy to submit a claim and they reimburse quickly. I had to call their customer service number and was very happy with the level of service.

There when we needed it…

We have been paying for years and never needed to use our insurance. Recent our Jenni was very sick and required tests, visits and continued medication. Your service has been speedy with reimbursements and easy to work with.

Great plan!

Great plan! Very easy to enroll. Also very easy to make a claim. My first claim was only a few months after getting the insurance, and it was a very easy process to make the claim and get reimbursed.
