Great Experience
We've been customers of Healthy Paws for 5 years and recently had an issue with our dog that would've cost $5k+. Luckily the decisions were very easy to continue with all necessary procedures knowing a large amount of the cost would be offset by our pet insurance. The claim process is simple and we received reimbursement within a few days. It was an excellent tool to have during an emotional time.

Worst insurance experience ever
Worst insurance experience ever. Our dog had a skin infection that we had treated. They tried to claim it was the same as an ear infection she had 9 months ago when we first adopted her stating it is a pre existing condition and not covered. Appealing it since it is obvious that a skin infection is different than an ear infection and now they want me to send in the last 2.5 years of medical records for her. We have only had her for 9 months and provided all the information we had when we adopted her. They will do anything possible not to cover any bills you have related to your pets health.

Easiest claim process
We have been with Healthy Paws insurance for over 4 years and we are very happy with our choice. For us this insurance continues to play a huge part in assuring that our dog has access to the best available medical care. Their app is very easy to use and seamless to submit a claim. Sometimes in less than 2 days we get the results from the claims and then in less than a week we would receive the reimbursement check. Highly recommended plan with the highest % of coverage if possible

Amazing Sheepadoodle with some tummy problems
Our family has a Sheepadoodle with stomach problems. The best thing I did was to get pet insurance. Pumpkin pet insurance is the best as far as I’m concerned. We have filed multiple claims for reimbursement over the last 2 years and Pumpkin has always taken care of each and every claim. We get reimbursed quickly after filling a claim. It’s always within a few weeks and never more then 3 weeks ever.

Hate that insurance WILL NOT do pre-approvals
Not impressed with the insurance company not pre-approving a surgery. How do I know if you will tell me it was preexisting or not. That is not fair if we need to know that decision before we do a surgery
