Trupanion is WORTH EVERY PENNY.
Trupanion is the reason we were able to save our 2 year old pup. He was really sick and we almost lost him. Knowing that we could take him to an ER vet hospital and do what we needed to to save his life without worrying about how to pay for it was a relief. He got the treatment and the diagnosis we needed to keep him healthy. He has Addisons and will need daily meds and monthly tests but because he was insured at the time of his diagnosis ALL of this will be covered. We are so grateful. Trupanion is amazing. And they are SO EASY TO WORK WITH. Definitely worth it!!! Don’t hesitate, insure your fur babies.

charged twice for annual deductible
i was charged an annual deductible twice in one year. within a month of each other. also, the amount uncovered made no sense as my dog did not have a preexisting condition.

Always double check your benefits…
I noticed that I wasn’t being reimbursed for some of the tests that should’ve been covered and so I called to get it straightened out. Apparently they had been basing my reimbursement on my policy from last year that had already renewed. So that was a bit confusing and unfortunate that I had to double check and then get it straightened out, it should’ve happened without that. So I guess there might be some systems that are not quite tuned up how they should be behind the scenes.

Glad to have a solid plan for my pets

A need for patience…
I like the benefit of having pet insurance but I don't like their process for completing claims. It always requires several follow-ups by the vet and myself although the company has all the necessary paperwork to complete the claim. This makes the process long and tedious.
