Terrible experience
I have had insurance with your company for one of my pets for years and never experienced this amount of problems. I submitted a claim and only a very small portion Trupanion said they would pay. I had submitted the exact type of claim a year prior and the full 90 percent was paid with no issues. Now your company is asking for more info, itemized listings, questioning everything I submitted and dragging this out. Completely dissatisfied and the amount of premium I pay monthly is exorbitant

The submission of a claim was straight forward and relatively easy. As expected the bills and Vet records needed to be downloaded, which was easy. The review process was short and the funds deposited in my bank account as was alluded to. Great Company!

Bureaucracy or scam - Terrible do not get
They claim to not receive your forms. Then they refuse coverage. They drive you crazy with bureaucracy. Absolute nonsense.

Im so happy I got metlife.
The claim process was very simple. Fill the forms, ask your vet for a full email of the visit and receipts of payment. In less then a week I got the payment. I had to submit 3 claims in 3 months for 2 of my dogs. I got back $3,900. Im so happy I had Metlife coverage.
