I'm so glad I got the insurance for my cat. I'm very happy with it. I just filed my first claim and got reimbursed. The process was really easy. And they make it very clear upfront about deductibles, reimbursement percentage, what they cover ect. It's way better than human insurance.

Unbelievable poor service with claim
Unbelievable poor service with claim. 2nd time writing here. First response drove an immediate response and action which was great. Since no movement on my claim now 2 months waiting. 6 weeks car not even looked at.

Our dog had bone cancer starting in his mouth
Our dog developed a tumor on his mouth that was determined to be bone cancer. The initial removal didn’t get it all so it grew back. Trupanion paid the initial expenses less deductible and consultations. We then saw an oncologist, had a CT scan and a consult with the surgeon about the removal of it. We were very nervous and thought we were going to lose our dog 2 years after losing our other 2. Trupanion covered 90% of the costs after our deductible for the original removal. We could not have saved our dog’s life without this insurance. They have great response time and helped us with everything. After surgery my dog has recovered and the cancer has been removed. I couldn’t be happier with our surgeon and Trupanion who helped us give our dog a renewed life. He is 11 and a large breed dog. Every penny I have spent on this insurance is 1000% worth it. My dog is acting like a puppy again. He is so happy. This wouldn’t have been possible without Trupanion and Nashville veterinarian specialists. I am so thankful for the care Trupanion has given us. I will always insure my future animals with Trupanion. You never know what can happen, but they will be there for you and make the process easy. It’s better than any medical insurance I’ve ever had, and I have great medical insurance.
