A decision never regretted
Since my 13 year old dog became diabetic one year ago, I have never regretted purchasing Trupanion. He is alive today because of Trupanion's support. I never realized how expensive his care would be. Insulin monthly at more than 100.00 a month, a glucose sensor which needs replacement every 14 days, $160.00 a month, syringes, as well as bi -weekly visits to his Vet. to adjust insulin dosages or change to a different type of insulin. At this time, he is doing remarkably well. Dogs without this care, because of its high cost ,are often dead after 3 months. Trupanion has only been supportive and has never balked at the cost of his treatment. I hoped that in a crisis Trupanion would be there. They were ! If my dog had remained well, I would have been happy knowing that my premiums went to another pet owner's dog and relieved their anxiety. It is hard to have to say goodbye to a lifelong friend because of the cost of care. Trupanion helped postpone the inevitable until the time when death becomes a kindness.
