Great match for us...feel well protected
I looked up pet insurance for the 1st time (have not had pet insurance for 2 previous puppies/dogs. This happened at the confirmed importance of my new veterinarian, who told be to investigate for myself but shared that he personally uses trupanion. After a google review of several companies and their terms, trupanion indeed seemed like the best fit for me/my new puppy. I obtained a quote on line but had questions. I called the 24/7 contact number and was given answers as well as advised that because I had called the day of my puppies exam, that I was eligible for an extra benefit of no wait time and 1 month free. I didn't know this and was extremely pleased to receive this information. The person I spoke with was extremely friendly and professional and this, together with the knowledge that my veterinarian chose this company helped to make me pleased to be protected by trupanion already. Dr. Datta also indicated that any times that he has had to make claims, the company has been very easy to work with.
