Excellent and honorable caring company
I have been a client of Embrace for a number of years now, I have always had the best of experiences when having to work with them during difficult and emotional times. Just like human health insurance, you don't contact them just to say "Hi!," you contact them when there are issues. The agents and staff at Embrace are some of the nicest people that I have had the pleasure of doing business with. They are empathetic, quick to respond, and very helpful. The prices are reasonable too. Like many insurance companies, I'm sure they get a bad rap as Insurance companies are easy to attack, especially if one doesn't understand the foundations of risk and cost avoidance that underly the reasons and cost of having insurance. Embrace has been very easy to work with on those times that we needed help with the expensive costs that come with keeping our little furry friends healthy. Embrace agents are also very empathetic, especially when the health news is dire, and this isn't fake caring, they really care. I highly recommend Embrace to anyone with a pet, who wants to make sure they can afford to move forward with those hard medical decisions that may come up during the lifetime of your pet.

I had some issues submitting a claim…
I had some issues submitting a claim using the app and the website. A few days later, I am pleased to say I was able to complete the claim from start to finish. Other than the hiccup submitting a claim, the app has been very easy to use.

Have had a great experience over the last 15 years.
People complain about things not being covered. READ what coverage you are buying BEFORE you purchase. I have been with Embrace for over 15 years and have not had a bad experience. One dog needed an MRI on his head which was nearly $6,000 - they paid 80%. Another dog needed spinal surgery which was nearly $12K - they paid 80%. The current dog needed emergency care - they paid 80%. In all instances I was reimbursed within 14 days. Read what you are buying so you won't be surprised. They have been fantastic for us.

Expect everything to be denied
Basically nothing will covered - expect everything to be denied. There is no true coverage, you will get reimbursed practically for the same amount of insurance you are paying for. Review your policy in detail prior to paying for anything. The process not complicated if you follow the instructions. But if you pet has any type of true need for insurance, other than the standard check ups, you will end up paying for it all out of pocket with this company.

I could not be happier with my Embrace claim experience.
I could not be happier with my Embrace claim experience. My 5-month-old Corgi puppy ingested a small amount of antifreeze last month. Thankfully, I got her to the emergency hospital immediately and they were able to save her life. The hospital bill was $4200+. Embrace approved all claims and paid them quickly, enabling me to, in turn, pay the charges on my credit card without incurring any interest charges. The claims submission process is easy and fast, and they pay promptly. My Embrace coverage is a sound investment.

Misleading advertising of coverage
My dog had an injury over the weekend and went to the vet ASAP on the following Tues (earliest appt). We were offered Trupanion coverage which was accepted same day. My dog underwent surgery for ACL tear within 30 day window. Coverage was denied stating it was preexisting. This coverage should never have been offered with knowledge my dog had symptoms on the date of injury (saturday, three days prior to visit) and the misleading information provided by insurance company that this was immediate coverage without any worries of preexisting conditions provided for 30 days if accepted. This company misleads with their advertising and leads to poor patient care when pet parents are told services should be covered. Very dissappointed. In reply to Trupanion response: the complaint is you mislead people with your strain of emails offer false coverage. In no place does it say pre existing conditions aren’t covered. This was offered to me the day I brought my pet to the vet and they had knowledge of the symptoms that started two days prior to being seen. They should have never offered the plan knowing the condition and surgery (very expensive) would not be covered. Thank goodness I had pet insurance prior to this visit to help my pet recover without added financial burdens. I wrote this review so that no other pet or pet parent has to be blindsided by your misleading and false representation of the initial coverage.

Trickery with Marketing Messaging
Trickery with Marketing Messaging They are advertising the fact that they cover some pre-existing conditions by basically redefining the word: Pre-existing to match the same amount of coverage any other insurance company has. They will steal your money and not think twice. I recently spent about 2K after confirming with their team that this would be covered. After spending the money and sending the invoices and receipts (because that is the only way pet insurance is covered for some reason), they denied my claim. Having pets in the first place is a big volunteering job for us humans, and making the process harder and more expensive just makes people not want to have anymore pets honestly. Yall just like Banfield and so many others are just stealing people's money and using the terms: #1 pet insurance for WHAT metric? I literally have zero clue. Don't use this service. That's all I gotta say.
