Trupanion was recommended by our veterinarian when our pups were 8 weeks old...we started with them and 4 years later, we are still with them. We have a female with idiopathic epilepsy. If we didn't have Trupanion, she wouldn't have lived this long. They have covered everything except for copays, which have been affordable. I think Trupanion is a wonderful pet insurance company! One of our males was recently found to have a broken tooth and while Trupanion doesn't cover the teeth cleaning the vets did, they did cover the tooth extraction! So happy about that!

The best pet Insurance EVER! I have surgery coming up for my little kitten and I emailed them for pre approval, got respond back within a few hours with 90 % coverage 🥹🤩 then I wanted to make sure I see things right , I called the company. Was on a phone with amazing person who even explained that they can pay directly To the clinic and I won’t have to claim bills and wait for a refund anymore. Simply amazing service . If you are serious about your pet health then consider this company as one of the best on a market. Thank you for being there for my little guy 🥹❤️❤️❤️

I signed up for Trupanion’s free 30-day trial after receiving multiple reminders, thinking it couldn’t hurt to try. Pros: No credit or debit card is required to sign up for and use the 30-day trial. Cons: The policy doesn’t cover anything until you meet a deductible. Submitting receipts from the vet to Trupanion only results in an email confirming that the amount was applied toward your deductible, with no actual reimbursement. Overall, I found this frustrating and not worth the time. Rather than paying into this “insurance,” I recommend putting that money into a dedicated savings account for your pet. When they need care, you can pay directly and avoid the hassle of dealing with an insurance policy that doesn’t provide immediate coverage.
